Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments to effectively identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques tailored specifically to each client.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches when creating treatment strategies.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients exhibiting acute distress or suicidal ideation.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing electronic medical records systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure in Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling is preferred but not strictly required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to assist with medical expenses. Counselors will also receive free access to the platform's mental health services, ensuring personal well-being while supporting others.
