The Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our team in providing a combination of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions to clients in Jackson, Tennessee. Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexibility, as it consists mainly of remote work within an outpatient office setting. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing for a schedule that supports work-life balance and client accessibility. You will be provided with the necessary tools and technologies to facilitate teletherapy sessions and manage client records efficiently. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each client's unique trauma history and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in overcoming trauma.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to cultivate healing, coping strategies, and personal growth.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each client.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and ensuring client safety.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining detailed and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed therapy.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• Two years of post-licensure experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with clients.

• Ability to stay calm and composed during high-stress situations, providing clients with stability and support.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
