Good Life Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our Pain Management Center. Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will work onsite at our Assisted Living Facility, which provides a supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff. This full-time position operates during standard business hours, from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to evaluate patients referred by the supervising physician.
• Independently conduct follow-up visits in accordance with organizational guidelines for continuity of care, ensuring that patient needs are addressed effectively.
• Regularly update and verify patient records during each appointment to maintain accurate documentation and support seamless care coordination.
• Analyze diagnostic test data and develop strategies for necessary follow-up appointments and additional treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician to develop and periodically reassess medical care plans, recommending appropriate treatment interventions based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain quality of care by adhering to company productivity metrics while delivering a patient-centered approach in all interactions.
• Act as an educator and resource for patients, providing them with ongoing care information, counseling, and supportive guidance to empower them in their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve an elderly population residing in the Assisted Living Facility, many of whom are dealing with complex pain management issues related to chronic conditions. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this demographic is crucial, as treatment plans often require a holistic approach that includes physical, emotional, and psychological support.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a concentration as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• An active and valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience specifically in pain management or related fields is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or Electronic Practice Management systems.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• A proactive and resourceful attitude is necessary to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional specialized training in pain management or advanced certifications in relevant therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Experience working in geriatric care settings is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
