Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens specifically designed for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused and individualized attention throughout their therapy journey.
• Implement innovative strategies aimed at enhancing mobility and functional independence while promoting non-surgical interventions whenever possible.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal recovery pathways.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapeutic activities, thereby empowering them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and improve overall patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Many of our clients are motivated athletes seeking to regain their performance levels, as well as older adults striving to maintain their independence. Your role will be vital in not just restoring functionality, but also addressing the psychological aspects of recovery, helping to build resilience and confidence in our patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey with no reported sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and skilled in creating personalized exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially with Web PT, to streamline documentation and communication.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and research-driven methodologies.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with varied levels of experience, we particularly value those who have demonstrated expertise in orthopedic outpatient care settings. Experience with sports rehabilitation and a proactive approach to patient-centered care will be considered an asset. Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
