Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to facilitate meaningful progress.

• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Liberty Consultation and Counseling Center, you will primarily serve individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Your focus will include but is not limited to issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. You will work progressively with clients, providing a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.
