Key Responsibilities\n

• Risk Assessments and Safety Planning: Complete and document comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to the needs of each participant.

• Timely Documentation: Ensure that all documentation is completed on the same day for individuals at risk of crisis service interaction, facilitating immediate support and intervention.
\n
• Critical Incident Reporting: Prepare and submit critical incident reports within 24 hours, ensuring that all necessary information is captured to support client safety.
\n
• Care Coordination: Actively participate in after-hours support, providing care coordination and crisis intervention as needed across different client scenarios.
\n
• Crisis De-escalation: Utilize effective crisis de-escalation techniques to support individuals experiencing heightened distress, both through direct interaction and as the Clinician of the Day.
\n
• Collaboration with Other Services: Coordinate and document hospital transitions and inpatient service transfers to ensure seamless client care and continuity of services.
\n
• Proactive Engagement: Work collaboratively with program participants to prevent the need for crisis services by identifying and utilizing appropriate community resources.
\n
• Ongoing Support: Maintain and review crisis alerts in coordination with county services, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed regarding participant needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients within the community, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role is crucial in advocating for their rights and dignity, supporting them through their treatment journey, and empowering them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.

• An independent mental health license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Exceptional judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in high-pressure situations.

• Demonstrated capacity for empathetic listening and the ability to remain calm during crises.

Compensation and Benefits\n
