Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions to determine physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals, incorporating various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing patient education and support, ensuring that patients and their families understand the treatment process and their role in recovery.
• Regularly reassess patients to evaluate progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment modalities, and progress in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive continuity of care for patients.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and continuing education opportunities to stay informed of industry best practices and enhance professional development.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including aides and students, fostering their professional growth within the organization.
• Maintain licensing and certification requirements and adhere to all regulatory guidelines pertinent to practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will involve treating a diverse patient population, including adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential prior to employment.
