Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Expression Behavioral Healthcare, you will:

• Engage in regular communication with healthcare providers to provide updates on patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including individual therapy notes and treatment plans, adhering to our department's policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychosocial assessments and appropriate social work interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention support and therapeutic counseling to clients experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Assist clients with discharge planning and care coordination, facilitating access to community resources and services based on their specific needs.

• Consult with family members and support systems to collaboratively determine treatment goals and discharge plans, promoting ongoing support post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of clients seeking outpatient services. These individuals may face various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent certification in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, where you have developed and implemented individual treatment plans.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based mental health services and therapeutic techniques.

• A self-directed and highly organized approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple clients and documentation efficiently.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite, with an aptitude for using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
