Work Environment

The work setting is entirely onsite at our newly expanded surgical center located in Elizabeth, NJ. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will engage in a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused exclusively on outpatient care, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance with Monday through Friday scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients presenting with a variety of health issues.
• Deliver diagnosis and treatment plans, collaborating with supervising physicians to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Perform procedures and administer treatments as needed within the scope of your training and certification.
• Document patient encounters accurately, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, preventative care, and treatment options.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient care strategies and protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse pediatric population, including children from low-income and ethnic minority backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and an active state license.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in pediatrics.
• Proficiency in documenting and presenting patient information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of current state and federal healthcare regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and trends in pediatric care.
• Previous involvement with community health initiatives or programs serving diverse populations is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
