Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history evaluation, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Assist in performing interventional procedures, such as nerve blocks, and spinal injections under the guidance of attending physicians, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and adjunct treatments in accordance with established protocols and clinical guidelines, tailoring them to individual patient profiles.
• Regularly monitor patient progress by reviewing treatment effectiveness and adjusting care plans based on clinical evidence and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on various pain management strategies, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment protocols within electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals suffering from chronic pain stemming from various conditions, such as musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical pain, neuropathic pain, and more. Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• A current Physician Assistant license in New York State, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and standards.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in pain management, orthopedics, or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
