Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of the counseling needs of students, identifying potential issues related to mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Utilize the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) for accurate substance abuse diagnoses and determine the appropriate level of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) standards.
\n
• Develop and prepare the substance abuse counseling portion of individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Formulate detailed discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions to appropriate levels of care.
\n
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation of all counseling services provided, including assessments, treatment updates, and follow-up interactions.
\n
• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, ensuring effective treatment planning and adhering to clinical requirements.
\n
• Coordinate and document support services for clients and their families, fostering a strong support network.
\n
• Engage and collaborate with various referral sources such as schools, legal entities, and employers to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Actively facilitate interventions for crisis-oriented issues by employing a multi-disciplinary team approach when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on students and their families. You will work with clients experiencing a range of issues related to mental health and substance use, often addressing co-occurring disorders. Your empathetic approach will be essential in promoting long-term recovery and creating safe spaces for open dialogue and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field is required; a master's degree and LCSW licensure are preferred.

• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and therapeutic boundaries.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrating the capacity to self-motivate and independently manage caseloads.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will have access to a full benefits package that includes:
