Work Environment

You will work in our modern outpatient office facility located in the heart of Chantilly, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their individual rehabilitation needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and document all treatments and responses meticulously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families on exercise regimens, assistive devices, and techniques to encourage self-management and improve functional abilities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure holistic patient care and successful outcomes.
• Stay current with industry best practices through participation in workshops, professional societies, and ongoing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include a diverse range of individuals, from children with developmental delays to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and results to patients and their families.
• Proficient in computer skills, including documentation and treatment planning software.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development within the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is advantageous yet not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply and can receive mentorship.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and be agile in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of patient care.
