Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique history and treatment needs.

• Designing and executing tailored treatment plans that foster trauma recovery and promote resilience.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to guide clients in processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated care to our patients.

• Delivering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on clients who have experienced various forms of trauma. These may include survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, accidents, or significant life transitions. Your expertise will be critical in guiding these individuals on their healing journey, fostering a sense of hope and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience ideally in a trauma-focused setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require a minimum of two years of experience, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed treatment modalities will be viewed favorably. Expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies, such as EMDR or TF-CBT, as well as familiarity with EHR systems and collaborative work in a multidisciplinary team setting, will enhance your candidacy.
