Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific goals, continually monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and responses to interventions.
• Provide education and training on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques to patients and their families.
• Advise and recommend assistive devices to patients to enhance their mobility and independence in daily activities.
• Stay updated with the latest in physical therapy practices through professional development opportunities such as workshops and continuing education courses.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. By providing specialized care and comprehensive treatment plans, you will significantly contribute to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
