Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions to establish effective treatment regimens.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies and the proper use of assistive devices, enhancing independence and facilitating recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain professional expertise by participating in workshops, peer discussions, and continuing education programs relevant to physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse patient demographic, from children to senior adults, who present a variety of physical therapy needs. Common areas of focus include rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, trauma recovery, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By applying evidence-based interventions, you will significantly contribute to improving patient functional outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Strong organizational and computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to patient care, ensuring flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of our patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, though newly licensed therapists are welcomed.
• Experience in outpatient settings and knowledge of advanced rehabilitation techniques are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
