Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and facilitate recovery.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals, enabling each patient to perform at their highest potential.
• Maintain thorough records of treatment sessions, patient responses, and progression towards goals to ensure a trackable and accountable therapeutic journey.
• Regularly reassess treatments and therapeutic goals, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure the patient's ongoing success and comfort.
• Educate and instruct patients and caregivers on the use of assistive devices, self-care strategies, and proper mechanics to promote independence and rehabilitation.
• Engage in professional development by participating in workshops, networking with peers, and contributing to clinical discussions to enhance personal and organizational knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse patient demographic ranging from post-operative recovery individuals to those suffering from chronic conditions and sports injuries. Our patient population includes children, adults, and elderly clients, each requiring specialized methods of evaluation and treatment. The ability to connect with and motivate patients of different ages and backgrounds is crucial in promoting adherence to treatment plans and enhancing their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong computer and word processing skills to facilitate documentation and reporting requirements.
• Adaptability and flexibility to cater to a diverse patient roster and changing therapeutic needs.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not required, candidates with at least two years of experience in a clinical setting will be highly regarded. Familiarity with modern rehabilitation tools and techniques, as well as prior engagement in team-based therapeutic environments, will be advantageous for swift acclimatization to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Elite Providence Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote health, engagement, and professional development.
