Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate, individualized treatment approaches.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall well-being.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and support of our patients during critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, useful coping mechanisms, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting adults and families dealing with the aftermath of trauma. Patients often come to us seeking guidance through emotional distress and mental health challenges stemming from traumatic life events, requiring a compassionate and skillful approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCPC license issued by the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, you can expect the following benefits:
