This role operates within a remote setting, affording flexibility while maintaining a collaborative approach with our multidisciplinary team. Your working hours can be adjusted to suit your schedule, as our clinic is open seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM. You can expect ongoing support and engagement with administrative teams dedicated to scheduling and client service, allowing you to concentrate on delivering outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient, with a strong focus on trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support the healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and achieve emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and immediate needs of clients are met.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals with a history of trauma, including emotional, physical, and psychological abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
