Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Renewed Life, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to inform tailored therapy plans.

• Implementing evidence-based interventions, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities to support clients' progress towards their individualized service plans.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams through effective communication during meetings and documentation to ensure comprehensive care is provided.

• Providing case management services, consulting with hospital staff, and engaging community resources to enhance support for clients.

• Adhering to ethical and timely documentation standards that reflect the care delivered, ensuring compliance with departmental expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client focus includes a wide range of individuals and families coping with mental health challenges. Our counselors play a pivotal role in providing support to those experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health services.

• Commitment to work flexible hours, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, to accommodate the needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have:

• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and initiating outreach programs to engage patients actively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management, enhancing workflow efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n
