Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify strengths, challenges, and needs.

• Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific requirements of each patient, considering their developmental and emotional landscape.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to effectively address mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Foster supportive relationships with young patients and their families through family therapy sessions, thereby contributing to the establishment of nurturing home environments.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, medical professionals, and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment and care.

• Provide proactive crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and teens.

• Educate families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices and innovative treatment methodologies relevant to child and adolescent mental health care.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case discussions to share insights, strategies, and support for enhanced patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a dynamic group of young individuals facing a range of mental health issues. You will focus on children and adolescents aged 5-18, employing a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help them navigate their challenges. Our practice is dedicated to understanding the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to mental health disorders, thus enabling therapists to create tailored treatment plans that address the whole person.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current Texas licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with effective therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in providing individual and family therapy to youth populations, demonstrating a child-centered approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and build trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Experience with electronic health record systems and computer literacy for documentation and care coordination.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams across our facilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of direct therapeutic experience is required, additional experience within outpatient services or in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams will be considered an asset. Familiarity with telehealth practices and resources is also an advantage, allowing for seamless virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
