Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for children and families to identify strengths, needs, and available resources.
• Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child’s unique developmental journey.
• Monitor and document outcomes consistently and thoughtfully, ensuring all families receive the appropriate levels of support.
• Provide evidence-based educational strategies to families, empowering them with skills and knowledge to enhance their child's development across physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains.
• Utilize natural learning environment practices to promote skill development in real-world settings, fostering healthy learning conditions for children.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, educators, and community resources to coordinate care and support for families.
• Adhere meticulously to all federal and state regulations governing practice to ensure compliance and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be assisting families that have children with disabilities, delays, or other special needs, especially during the critical early developmental years. Our services target the youngest members of the community, including infants and toddlers, helping them learn essential developmental skills and navigate challenges that may arise due to their unique circumstances. You will be committed to fostering a supportive, encouraging environment where families feel empowered to participate fully in their child's growth and development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.
• Must hold a valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for potential in-person engagements.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong collaborative skills, with a respect for the diverse backgrounds of colleagues and clients alike.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience working with children in early intervention is preferred, a passion for community service and the ability to adapt to varying learning styles are crucial. Compensation and Benefits
