Work Environment

As a hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, allowing you the comfort and flexibility to manage your schedule while still engaging in meaningful face-to-face therapy sessions in our outpatient office environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and emotional status, ensuring individualized care.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans that address each client's specific goals, nuances, and challenges for effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling, family therapy sessions, and group therapy workshops.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress through ongoing assessments and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure client satisfaction and progression.
• Respond promptly with crisis intervention techniques when necessary, providing immediate support to clients in distress.
• Accurately maintain client records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health specialists—to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for our clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest practices and research in mental health treatment.
• Participate actively in regular supervision, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and share knowledge within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on building a therapeutic alliance that encourages openness, trust, and collaboration, helping clients achieve tangible improvements in their mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is essential (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW).
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, along with the ability to interpret and apply relevant mental health principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
• Possess a compassionate, empathetic nature along with a deep commitment to the well-being of clients.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently while still functioning effectively within a team dynamic.
• A strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal parameters governing mental health practices.
• A commitment to continuous professional growth, adapting to new methodologies, and enhancing clinical techniques.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or related fields, demonstrating depth in therapeutic approaches and client engagement.
