Position Overview

Quality Health Partners, Inc is seeking an experienced and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cortlandt Manor, New York. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to our urgent care team within our state-of-the-art Surgical Center. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services and patient care, working primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment strategies.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans in partnership with attending physicians, ensuring the delivery of appropriate interventions and follow-up care.
• Perform various procedures and minor surgical interventions under the supervision of attending physicians, aiming to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications that support overall health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical records by documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and any further recommendations to facilitate coordinated care efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse outpatient population, including individuals ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active State licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably within an urgent care or surgical specialty.

• Experience in patient education and advocacy to improve health literacy and patient engagement will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This vital role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to USD 180,000 annually.
