Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of young clients, establishing rapport, and fostering positive relationships to support their mental health journey.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, and to plan future appointments or discharges appropriately.

• Creating, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with each client.

• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes for all client interactions, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a closely related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or in substance abuse treatments.

• Prior experience in assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy modalities.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and basic keyboarding capabilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in child psychology or youth therapy techniques, as well as experience working in community health settings, will be highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n
