Clear Mind Therapy is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team as a full-time independent contractor. In this pivotal role, you will provide crucial mental health support via remote counseling, focusing on adult and senior clients, particularly those undergoing detoxification. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your chosen workspace. You will be expected to work a flexible 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, adjusting your schedule to best meet the needs of your clients. Our detox center setting will provide you the opportunity to interact with clients in need of immediate support, offering a unique context where your skills can make a significant difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social needs, specifically focusing on elder clients who may face unique challenges.
• Develop and implement client-centered treatment strategies that align with the individual goals of each senior client.
• Provide empathetic counseling and psychotherapy sessions, ensuring a safe environment for clients to express their feelings and experiences.
• Research and compile resources to connect clients with additional support services, assisting them in navigating their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, sharing insights into client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, your primary focus will be on adult and senior clients who are undergoing detox treatment. Many of these individuals may be facing various emotional upheavals related to their substance use and recovery process. Your ability to establish trust and rapport will be vital to assisting them in navigating the complexities of recovery. With a compassionate approach, you will guide clients in identifying their needs and empowering them to pursue healthier lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, demonstrating your advanced training and knowledge in the field.
• Must be a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, possessing the credentials necessary to practice independently.
• While three years of relevant work experience is preferred, we welcome all qualified candidates who can demonstrate their ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, and general comfort with technology and online counseling platforms.
• Ability to work autonomously while being self-directed and management-ready, thriving without direct supervision.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with senior populations and familiarity with issues unique to aging clientele.
• A background in addiction counseling or detox support is highly valued.
• Proven track record of implementing successful treatment plans and measuring client outcomes.
• Skills in conducting workshops or training sessions for client advocacy would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 based on your level of experience and qualifications.
