Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Sutter Care Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians and develop individualized treatment programs that align with established rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education to promote recovery.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by building trust and rapport with patients, ensuring that they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes, leveraging teamwork and communication to refine treatment approaches.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of treatment progress and outcomes.
• Provide necessary training and guidance to patients and their caregivers on exercises and techniques to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Work towards achieving minimum utilization goals and contribute to overall departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families effectively.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience
