As a Nurse Practitioner here, you will be working closely with a dedicated team of physicians and clinical staff who prioritize both patient experience and medical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including taking comprehensive health histories and performing physical examinations.
• Provide diagnosis and management for acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
• Order and interpret pertinent laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and radiologic examinations to develop informed treatment plans.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions; adapt strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Set patient-centered outcomes and goals, evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, and adjust these plans as necessary.
• Engage with patients and families through health promotion and educational initiatives, fostering a collaborative health management process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will focus primarily on the adult population, managing a diverse range of health conditions that require comprehensive care. Our patient demographic is varied, allowing professionals to engage with complex cases while delivering individualized healthcare solutions. This role is critical in enhancing health literacy among patients and promoting ongoing wellness.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Advanced Practice Registered Nursing.
• Current New York State licenses as a Registered Professional Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Exceptional clinical judgment alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an advanced practice role specifically within Internal Medicine, providing care to adult patients.
• Experience in concierge medicine or similar settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
