Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their specific needs and areas for growth.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic approaches, family involvement, and cultural considerations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to the unique challenges adolescents face.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, assisting them in creating supportive home environments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated, evidence-driven care for each young individual.

• Respond to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention to children and adolescents in distress.

• Engage in psychoeducation, informing families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings and case consultations, sharing knowledge and strategies that enhance patient outcomes.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health, incorporating new findings into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will play a crucial role in redesigning their outlook on mental health, imparting them with tools and strategies to manage their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health conditions and an understanding of evidence-based treatment practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy, particularly to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young clients and their families in a compassionate manner.

• Expertise in electronic health record systems and a sound understanding of using technology in therapeutic settings.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a caring and inclusive atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly involving child and adolescent populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
