Physical Therapist - Full Time - Home Health Care

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Massage & Exercise Therapy in Winter Haven, Florida. This full-time position requires an individual who is eager to create a positive impact on patients' lives while providing high-quality care in a home care setting.
Massage & Exercise Therapy is a physical therapist-owned private practice that prioritizes patient care through evidence-based methodologies. This position is primarily onsite, delivering care directly in patients' homes. Our team is comprised of professionals who share a common goal of enhancing recovery and rehabilitation through diligent practice. Operating within a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, you'll be working alongside other therapists and healthcare professionals. Your schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, consisting of a 40-hour work week.
As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment programs.
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans of care based on ongoing assessments.
Delivering treatments that are scientifically supported and aligning with the physician's directives.
Demonstrating exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our operations.
In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Your expertise will empower patients to regain functional independence and enhance their quality of life following injuries. Building rapport with patients is vital as you support them throughout their recovery journey.
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
Proficiency in word processing and the ability to utilize computer systems for patient records.
A proven ability to establish meaningful connections with patients and community members.
While not required, previous experience in a home care setting or providing physical therapy to orthopedic patients is considered an asset. Performance-based incentives.
