You will work closely with other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and rehabilitation.

Direct and manage physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring function based on comprehensive evaluations of clients' needs.

Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of care plans while facilitating a collaborative treatment environment.

Assess clients' home environments to provide tailored rehabilitation recommendations aimed at enhancing their independence.

Deliver physical therapy services at home, as prescribed by physicians, ensuring that interventions are safe and effective.

Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercises, and physical agent modalities to maximize treatment outcomes.

Evaluate, fit, and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices, communicating any necessary modifications to the physician.

Actively participate in the development, review, and updating of individualized care plans, documenting all interactions and interventions.

Maintain clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and summaries, adhering to organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and case conferences, offering insights and recommendations for comprehensive client care.

Instruct clients and their families on the proper use and maintenance of therapy devices and programs, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Provide oversight and training for Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they deliver safe and effective support in line with care plans.

Conduct functional assessments on-site and revise care plans based on clients' evolving needs and goals.

Be available to support Physical Therapy Assistants in treatment sessions to uphold quality standards.

The role focuses on a diverse outpatient clientele, where you will work with individuals who may be recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or experiencing disabilities. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through targeted therapies and interventions, empowering them to achieve optimal performance and independence.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

An active and clean Physical Therapist license is essential: candidates must have no history of sanctions or board proceedings.

Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and modalities.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.

Strong understanding of current evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Experience in an outpatient setting preferred, with a focus on rehabilitation and rehabilitation-focused interventions.

Familiarity with community resources for rehabilitation and patient support is a plus.
