Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans, considering each patient’s developmental stage, needs, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address an array of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture a supportive and healthy environment at home.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educators, and other related professionals to provide coordinated care for our clients.

• Respond to mental health emergencies with crisis intervention strategies to support patients and their families during challenging situations.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and contribute to team effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on children and adolescents, including their families. You will work closely with young patients who are experiencing various mental health challenges, providing tailored interventions that directly influence their emotional and psychological well-being. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, particularly to children and adolescents.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Experience conducting individual and family therapy sessions tailored for younger clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach focused on the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• A proven ability to establish rapport and build trust with young patients and their families.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology tools.

• Capacity to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
