Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexible remote work arrangements while being integrated into an outpatient office setting. Our hours are standard from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents, ensuring an understanding of their unique circumstances and challenges.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to developmental stages, cultural backgrounds, and family dynamics, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower caregivers with strategies for fostering a supportive home environment and improving family dynamics.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to offer coordinated care, integrating different viewpoints to create holistic treatment plans.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, equipped to respond effectively to urgent situations involving young patients.

• Educate patients and families regarding mental health topics, treatment processes, and available community resources to foster informed participation in the treatment journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation consistent with legal, ethical, and organizational standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to contribute insights and enhance collective expertise, alongside pursuing ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A thorough understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatments applicable to this demographic.

• Previous experience providing individual and family therapy to young individuals, demonstrating effective rapport-building with clients.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on a compassionate, client-centered approach.

• Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable with technology to document and manage patient records efficiently.

• A collaborative spirit and readiness to engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who possess at least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling focused on children and adolescents. Experience working in outpatient settings will be viewed favorably, particularly with a strong background in family dynamics and counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
