Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate comprehensive trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess clients' trauma histories and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement effective trauma recovery strategies that promote resilience and healing, utilizing evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions that assist clients in processing their experiences and developing coping mechanisms required for recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated treatment planning for each client.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing timely intervention and support for clients experiencing acute trauma reactions.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and additional resources available for support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients who have experienced trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults. Clients may present with complex trauma symptoms, PTSD, anxiety, and other related disorders, which necessitates a tailored therapeutic approach to facilitate their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
