Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring effective therapeutic relationships. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some required flexibility based on patient demands. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely to provide comprehensive care, which includes regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine tailored treatment interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a therapeutic environment that encourages patients to process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance their emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic, integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related incidents, guiding patients to stabilize and manage their distress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.

• A demonstrated commitment to the field of mental health through 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in trauma-focused environments.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the latest trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to manage client documentation effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
