We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Optimal Recovery Physical Therapy Clinic in Paterson, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center in Paterson features a collaborative and dynamic environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. You will work onsite full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, engaging directly with patients in a supportive atmosphere that values both staff and patient wellbeing. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and facilities, designed to optimize the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations upon referral from physicians to determine individual needs and goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address a variety of conditions, ensuring alignment with physicians' directives.
• Deliver expert care in a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Engage with patients to provide education on their conditions and treatments, enhancing their understanding of recovery processes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote maximum patient outcomes while striving to exceed utilization goals.
• Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain detailed records to facilitate quality care and communication.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive environment by delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with patients, caregivers, and the community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our focus is on providing individualized care that empowers each patient to achieve their functional goals, regain independence, and improve their overall quality of life. You will have the opportunity to tailor your approach to each patient's unique situation and engage with them to motivate and guide them through their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient in basic computer and word processing skills, essential for documentation and patient management.
• A compassionate approach to care, demonstrating the desire to connect with and support patients throughout their recovery journey.
• A commitment to building relationships within the community to promote health and wellness.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in a clinical setting focusing on various specialties can be an advantage. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems can also enhance your effectiveness in documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
