Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' experiences and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs.

• Implementing a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive and integrated care strategy for our patients.

• Providing critical crisis intervention and support to mitigate trauma-related emergencies, emphasizing safety and stabilization.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, thereby enhancing their support systems.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care across treatment sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have been affected by various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, catastrophic events, and chronic emotional distress. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois.
