Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities utilizing appropriate assessment tools and techniques.
• Design and implement individual treatment plans based on each patient's unique assessment findings and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including hands-on techniques, exercises, and state-of-the-art equipment like TENS units and ultrasound therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients on proper body mechanics, posture correction, and injury prevention methods, fostering independence and confidence in their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring modifications to treatment plans are made as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and optimize patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and facility protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, which includes individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and addressing musculoskeletal injuries. Our facility sees a variety of cases, including back and neck pain, arthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation, and balance disorders. Your role will directly impact each patient's rehabilitation experience, shaping their recovery trajectory and helping them regain function and mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, with exposure to various therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency in advanced physical therapy methodologies and modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential for assessing and addressing complex patient rehabilitation needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with greater experience in treating a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions will be favored. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be considered a plus, as our facility embraces technology to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting the importance of your expertise and the value you bring to our team.
