Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize cutting-edge therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address the nuanced needs of trauma survivors.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their healing journey by developing coping mechanisms and support systems.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and physicians to create integrated care plans that ensure holistic patient support.

• Provide crucial crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating proactive leadership in high-stress situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and may face various socio-economic barriers. Your role will entail not only direct therapeutic work but also fostering community connections that can aid in their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-focused treatment methodologies.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n
