Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions through various channels, tailoring approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to suit diverse client backgrounds.
• Assist clients in navigating their emotional journeys, helping them to set and achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver a coordinated care approach that addresses complex client needs.
• Maintain meticulous records of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to all ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from children to adults, seeking guidance for issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a supportive environment that encourages open communication and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations in counseling practice is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous experience collaborating with healthcare teams to create comprehensive care strategies will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software to manage client documentation effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 based on your caseload and experience.
