Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Community Health Focus

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand each client's unique mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Engage with clients through face-to-face and digital platforms, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the individual.
• Participate in collaborative care meetings with colleagues to discuss client progress and revise treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to build rapport and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to clients and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access additional services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations, as well as adherence to ethical standards in counseling practice.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system, maintaining accurate and thorough records of client progress.
• Advocate for client needs within the community and assist in connecting individuals with necessary resources and support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse populations within the El Paso community, including children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by mental health issues. You will contribute to programs that aim to support preventative care and address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Understanding cultural sensitivities and being responsive to the specific struggles of our clients will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current Licensure as a Professional Counselor in Texas (LPC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling or a related mental health field.
• Ability to provide remote therapy using videoconferencing technology.
• Strong ethical framework and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• A passion for working with diverse and underserved populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with community-based mental health initiatives or programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
