Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and follow-up interviews to document mental health histories and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through established assessment tools and techniques to develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based.
\n
• Create impactful intervention strategies tailored for various patient demographics including individuals, couples, families, and groups, implementing therapeutic modalities best suited to each client’s needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients navigate their mental health challenges effectively.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout each phase of the treatment plan, adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, primary care physicians, and specialists to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients.

• Follow up with referral sources, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to maintain a cohesive care plan for clients transitioning to or from inpatient services.

• Assist clients and their families in understanding mental health issues, implementing strategies to manage challenges and enhancing overall family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied client population experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our clients range from children to adults, appealing to a broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches and fostering a practice environment that values inclusivity and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is required.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Evidence of professional experience as a mental health counselor, with a background in conducting assessments and implementing treatment plans.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ideally with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of addiction disorders and co-occurring health conditions, alongside familiarity with best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse clients.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing telehealth services is strongly preferred, demonstrating adaptability to remote counseling.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
\n
• Knowledge of pharmacotherapy and its effects as prescribed by other medical specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
