Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to formulate tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to restore function and alleviate pain, while ensuring the utmost compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and sports trainers, to develop and execute comprehensive care strategies that meet the individual needs of each patient.
• Document patient progress in both electronic health records and other required formats, ensuring compliance with billing, coding, and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and educate students and junior staff, enhancing their skills and confidence in delivering quality care. Support ongoing training initiatives and professional development opportunities.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and improving patient outcomes.
• Keep abreast of developments in the physical therapy field, including new techniques, research, and technologies relevant to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with adult and pediatric patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. A strong focus will be placed on tailoring treatment plans that not only address physical impairments but also foster patient education and self-management. Our diverse client base often includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals looking to regain mobility and functionality after injuries.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current California Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills paired with a proactive approach to patient care.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and working effectively within a team.
• Thorough knowledge of anatomical functional principles and rehabilitation practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
