Work Environment\n

This role is set within a vibrant school community that champions the mental health and academic success of its students. The work environment is remote, allowing flexibility while still ensuring that the social worker remains actively involved in school operations and student support. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as necessary to provide comprehensive coverage for mental health services. On-call availability may be needed in urgent mental health situations, showcasing the clinic's commitment to student care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, taking into consideration their personal histories, presenting concerns, and various risk factors.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, focusing on addressing mental health issues, enhancing emotional well-being, and ensuring successful integration within the school community.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, specifically targeting a range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies among students.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for every student.

• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals for higher levels of care when required.

• Engage with students and their families through psychoeducation sessions, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and staff development activities to enhance collaboration and share best practices among care providers.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, contingent on experience and qualifications.
