Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your principal responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, working to establish positive therapeutic relationships characterized by respect and professionalism.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to evaluate their progress, updating treatment plans as necessary, and guiding them through the discharge process when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans aimed at helping clients achieve their specific mental health goals.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client session, ensuring compliance with all clinical and legal standards.

• Performing thorough intake assessments to gather necessary information for creating effective treatment plans.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions weekly, effectively using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth from the local community, providing mental health services to individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance abuse concerns. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is mandatory.
