Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess individual client histories and identify their specific treatment needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma, enhancing coping mechanisms, and promoting pathways to recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create a holistic and integrated care approach for patients.

• Provide prompt crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources.

• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards by maintaining accurate client documentation and ensuring confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting clients who have faced various forms of trauma. You will engage with individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders, providing them with compassionate care that considers their unique experiences. Clients will benefit from your expertise through effective therapy interventions tailored to their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• A comprehensive understanding of trauma-related issues and trauma-informed therapy techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to exhibit empathy and a nonjudgmental demeanor.

• The capability to remain calm and professional under pressure, maintaining client trust and safety.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably with trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
