Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to support patients in a convenient setting that aligns with our commitment to accessibility. While the role is primarily home-based, you will remain an integral part of our supportive team culture, which values professional camaraderie and collaboration. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and identify the most effective treatment modalities.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an engaging atmosphere where patients can safely discuss their trauma, learn coping strategies, and promote mutual healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatric professionals and a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support, particularly when patients experience trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them throughout their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by a wide range of trauma-related conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This patient population requires a nuanced understanding and a compassionate approach, as many have experienced profound hardships that significantly impact their mental health. Delivering care in a manner that emphasizes safety and respect is essential.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and contemporary technology to facilitate patient care and documentation.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years is required, we highly value candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and demonstrated success in supporting patients through their recovery. Compensation and Benefits\n
