Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative team atmosphere. While you will primarily be working from home, you will remain connected with a supportive network of fellow mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patient histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience, integrating patients' strengths and goals.

• Deliver cutting-edge therapeutic interventions, commonly incorporating methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering patients a secure environment to process their experiences and discover effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate crisis intervention and support to patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and families on trauma responses and available resources for ongoing support, fostering a deeper understanding of their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in continuous learning through professional development opportunities, staying updated on the latest advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced varying levels of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
