Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique recovery goals and resilience-building needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate trauma processing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in understanding their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated care approach for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, delivering immediate support to individuals in need.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring documentation reflects the ongoing progress of treatment.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities with a focus on enhancing trauma-informed care competencies.

• Stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy, continually refining your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals coping with trauma and related mental health issues. Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges stemming from trauma experiences. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity for empathy and understanding in client interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient in relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, it is essential that candidates possess a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a genuine passion for helping trauma survivors. Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable, as is the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a remote setting.
