Life Works Psychiatric Center is actively seeking dedicated, Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic outpatient team. This full-time remote position allows you to provide mental health services from the comfort of your own home, while also benefiting from the collaborative support of our experienced psychiatric office based in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will play a crucial role in shaping the mental health journey of our clients through evidence-based methodologies and personalized care.

Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing therapists to provide care from their own locations while being part of a collaborative team culture. Though primarily virtual, our outpatient office in Las Vegas offers opportunities for in-person meetings, training, and team-building activities as needed. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient appointments and urgent needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new and existing patients, identifying their needs and developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, applying modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to enhance patient outcomes.

• Coordinate and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating safe spaces for individuals to share experiences and learn from each other.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing sound assessment skills to triage patient needs effectively.
\n
• Offer educational sessions to patients about mental health, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and relevant legislation.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to further your expertise and contribute to team knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to adults, who present with a variety of mental health symptoms. Each therapist will have the opportunity to work with clients in different therapeutic settings, applying customized approaches to support patients through their unique challenges. This role not only demands clinical expertise but also a deep commitment to patient-centered care and advocacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and skills to conduct thorough assessments and devise effective treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.
\n
• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries while managing patient confidentiality.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Experience in crisis intervention and treatment of substance use disorders is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
