Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to work from your comfort. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a structured work schedule with some flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories to tailor individualized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that specifically target trauma recovery while promoting resilience and growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively treat trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to integrated care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support, addressing urgent needs during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm demeanor.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, appropriate coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to remain current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals coping with the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping these patients navigate their recovery journeys, supporting them as they learn to cope with and overcome the emotional challenges stemming from their experiences. Your role will create a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, providing expertise in trauma-focused therapy and interventions.

• Strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that reflect a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating effective crisis management skills.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• An established ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
